Clunch, Mineral aus den Kohlen- und Eisengruben von Staffordshire, aus Eisen, Ton, Kalk und Kieselerde bestehend, das geglüht und gepulvert, ähnlich dem Puzzolane einen trefflichen Mörtel gibt, außerdem viel besser und schöner poliert als der gewöhnliche Tripel.
