Giallolino, italienische Bezeichnung für eine in der Kunstmalerei der Alten angewendete Farbe, deren Ursprung oder Zusammensetzung bis nun nicht vollkommen aufgeklärt ist. Viele nehmen an, es sei Neapelgelb, das auch heute diese Benennung trägt; doch ist es wahrscheinlicher, daß Giallolino eine besonders feurige Erdfarbe, sorgfältig zubereitet, war.
