Impermeator, Dampfschmierapparat, der kurz vor der Maschine auf das Hauptdampfrohr geschraubt wird; er benutzt das durch Kondensation des Dampfes entstandene Wasser, um das Schmieröl aus dem Apparat in das Hauptdampfrohr zu drücken.
